GTOW Part III – Continuing the Exploration of where to Go The Other Way, next…
AI as an Editing Tool for fiction, the ‘Neptunian’ cultural factor, IR Light and Methylene Blue
Good morning everyone,
Recently I attended the regular get-together of self-publishing writers and as usual, some very interesting conversations ensued. One fellow in particular, was explaining in depth his success and the joy which he had discovered when using AI to edit his stories. Apparently, the likes of Chat GPT can be used to analyze fiction writing for various grammatical and style issues, which is as one might expect. But it can also work on knottier, more complex issues such as story flow and character development or scene development. I found that aspect to be very interesting as the type of editing which I have paid for on a person-to-person ‘professional’ basis, has been rather less than useful on story issues such as these, probably because the content of my stories is anything but ‘Woke’, and pretty much everything from any profession these days, is so ‘Woke’ that it’s actually fallen asleep in its own delusions.
Editors have this throwaway line, ‘Show don’t tell’, when noticing what may be a gap in character description, such as clothing formations or the furnishings in the room of a scene. This is a delicate balance, too much of this descriptive material and the whole story gets bogged down in ‘décor’, too little and the characters can seem cold or all the same. ‘Paint a picture with words’ they say, which is great, but that triggers Hollywood syndrome where everything is set designed, newly made, beautifully lit and lacking in the sensations of odor or pheromones. Or perhaps I should say Netflix syndrome. Same, same, but even worse.
Anyway, this process triggers a type of GTOW (Go The Other Way) in some writers; a return to the inherent crafting of the story as it wants to speak of itself, for itself. ‘Organic’ story telling would be another way to describe this process. It returns to the issue of ‘The Muse’, which begs something of an unanswerable question. Most people would probably think that the Muse is a state of intellect, or ‘the mind’, because we are an overly-intellectualized society which ‘thinks’ that everything is a state of mind, which can be measured, manipulated categorized and programmed by various methodologies. I, of course, am not so sure about that as a life affirming process. If ‘Body Dysmorphia’ is a commonly recognized situation, I have to ask myself if ‘Intellectual Dysmorphia’ is a yet-to-be thing? I have come to suspect that it might be…
To me, the Muse is something of a spirit, a creative state which wants to work with, and through, the author of the works in question. It has an inherent presence of its own, something which might be termed a vibration, a sensation or an intuition. This puts me at odds with Rene Descartes (1596–1650), who was a mathematician or a calculating man, who introduced the concept of “I think, therefore I am”. Which statement became a popular type of philosophical position which has eventually produced the reductionist orientated, Academia focused, intellectual life of the Western world.
These matters are not without their inherent benefits, as all of the creations and abilities of Western Applied Science depend on this Cartesian methodology, and quite successfully so. But in the human realm of life or of fictional or mythological story-telling, such reductionism has become a disaster, and especially so when it is applied to the more creative aspects of the human life. So much of our conversation these days is just a churning of opiniated ‘facts’ and a dualistic debate over matters which really don’t enhance our living experience.
To put this matter into a different metaphorical framework, the opposite position of ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’, would be the position which underpins the philosophies of Plato and Socrates and many other streams of the Western philosophical tradition. From this perspective, we would, from example, look at a tree and feel its energies, sense the vibrations of is presence, listen to the sounds which the tree makes when it moves in the wind and therefore come to a place of understanding (I Think) of the nature of a tree, and what it means to be a tree (the I Am, or in this case, the Tree Is), in a quite whole-of-being sort of way.
The Cartesian ‘I Think, Therefore I Am’ framework would examine the tree from a measurement perspective (it’s 20ft tall), then from a structural and classification perspective (it’s an Oak tree, it has good wood for making furniture) and so forth. The living aspects of the tree don’t actually come into the equation, nor would the invisible energies which trees can produce, for themselves and for our benefit. Infra-red light spectrum energies for example, a beneficial spectrum of light which trees emit. In the Celtic world which we explored in last fortnight’s post (HERE), there was a distinct focus on the wisdom energies of trees, and especially within groves of trees, which were quite sacred spaces in the Druidic world. In this day and age, now that we are aware of the infra-red light which trees emit and have instruments to measure it, we are in a place of using scientific method (I Think, Therefore I Am) to prove a long held principal of the spiritual framework (I Am, Therefore I Think). This type of new visitation of old energies dynamic, flows all through the novels which I am writing, in both series.
There other ways of coming to grips with this change of focus in life. Carl Jung’s slim but wonderful volume ‘Synchronicity’, explores the issues well. It comes from a period in his life when he was exploring matters through the use of the ancient Chinese oracle system called ‘I Ching’ so again, the ancient ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’ is brought into the modern intellectual concept framework. The book is fascinating and it’s wonderful to watch the highly intellectual Mr. Jung come to grips with concepts and issues which cannot be explained and interpreted in intellectual ways. If we want to further the ‘East Meets West’ aspect of ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’, there is the redoubtable Mr. Alan Watts. One of his classic lectures on the matter is available on YouTube (HERE).
So, there we are. For 2024, we will return to the writing projects from the Muse centric method of ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’ and also to the inherent energies of the stories themselves. My apologies, Mr. Descartes, but I am just done with the over-intellectualism! However, we will see how the inherence of the Muse and the rationalism of the AI of ChatGPT work out as the ‘second set of eyes’ for mechanistic, structural editing purposes. I will keep you informed, maybe even post some before and after extracts for comment and comparison.

Some decades back in Western societies, we started to think of those who were dis-abled as being differently abled. Given what we have all been through in the last few years, perhaps we now need to try to recognize dis-ease as a different state of ease, because it can be, or it can propel us to search more widely so that we might be. If we are able to see the matter from within such a framework.
Somewhere at the turn of the 1800s into the 1900s, we saw several things occurring at once, movements in a parallel field of ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’ during the heady period of the world changing Industrial Revolution and its processes of ‘I Think, Therefore I Am’. Spiritualism arose into Western consciousness; Alistair Crowley came into play, as well as the Theosophists. Psychiatry and Psychology came into being with Mr Freud (I Think, Therefore I Am) and Mr. Jung, who eventually became quite the mystic himself as a man of ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’. The absolutely ancient art of Astrology came back into the common field in a form which was altered by both the spiritualism of the day and the new religion of psychology. For example, Astrology changed its traditional understanding of the planet (and the ‘God’) Neptune from a metaphorical, Masculine Sea Hero who was concerned with the vast oceans and maritime matters, into some sort of vaguely Feminine 'endless sea' psycho-emotional influence which to this day, has never been properly defined.
So, we went from the rigidly structured eras of religion with the ‘Death of God’, into a highly experimental period of human journeying into all matters of spirit and myth, as well as the highly mechanized building of an industrialized world. One must also point out that there were endless amounts of psychotropic drugs and drug based medicine (the new astrological form of Neptune) involved in all of these processes.
Given where we are with our suspicions concerning industrialized food these days, it’s also interesting that the early 1900s were the beginnings of seed oils in the human diet, as there is emerging evidence that these oils may be a major factor in the disintegration of our minds and our thought processes. Seed oils were originally developed as machine lubricants before they became ‘food’, so there is a classic clash of the two forms of ‘I am’ in one situation. Nobody would drink the engine oil from their car, but with seed oils in your food, that is essentially what you are doing, because modern engine oil isn’t ‘fossil fuel’, it’s basically made from Castor Beans. Can you feel the Neptune factor?
Although delusion follows hand in hand with times of breakdown and breakthrough sometimes, not all of the findings of such a period are completely awkward. Crowley discovered things which he should not, and could not, have known by any method of logic, as did Jung. The spiritualist Alice Bailey (Theosophy) wrote a book called 'Esoteric Astrology'. It is not very good astrology, but it is a spiritual channeling of what later became known as Quantum Astro-Physics, written and published long before there even was such a field in the Academic Sciences. The point would be that when the world is concentrating on cultural movement in one direction, it is the outliers in life which often herald the next direction, or who find the path to the true future direction, in a parallel sort of way. This is an important set of possibilities to be aware of at this time because the traditional understanding of the way forward, the continuation of all that we have been involved in before the last few years, no longer seems to be a plausible option for the future.

An example of this would be modern Psychology, which is more slanted towards the mechanistic opinions of Freudian Psychiatry, than anything Jungian. Currently, it is heavily invested in Trauma theory, which is in effect, a combination of the Christian Original Sin concept and the Eastern Karma as past life as punishment distortion. Which is probably fine for the selling pf psychological services, but Trauma theory is ONLY delivered in a framework of the ‘bad’ (Sin). One might perhaps ask, if ‘bad’ can be brought into a life from the past lives as current Trauma-informed Psychology suggests, why is it not possible that good can also be brought into the life from past life experiences? One must wonder…
If we can extract our souls from the 'Fall of Man' syndrome, which died with the Death of God, and subsequent Cartesian ‘I Think Therefore I Am’ dilemma, which came from the rise of the Intellectual Gods, also now disintegrating; and other narrow, Cult-ural and Psychological definitions of the soul and its journeys, we might find some new paths to explore in our own search for novel states of ‘ease’. We will discover such new paths, from the Outliers who have moved out of, or moved on from, the dramas of the dying paths.
For example, in recent conversations of X (Twitter), the subject of Methylene Blue has broken out into the wider field of Outlier Health and Medicine. It is a particularly interesting substance in many ways, which originally came into the field at that pivotal time of the turn from the 19th Century to the 20th Century which I mentioned above. Like the findings of Crowley or Jung, it is incongruous and it shouldn’t be there, but it is, and it is definitely worth exploring. I have mentioned this issue before at The Sara Is Sensate, but I would like to finish this post with a more thorough examination of the field of exploration as it currently exists.
Methylene Blue is what you might call an Enantiodromia compound. Enantiodromia means that it works one way, then it flips to another completely different thing. So, dosage follows that pattern in a way inherent to the compound itself. I find it interesting that this compound has come back in the field at this time, as so much of what we ‘thought’ that we knew about medicine, has become rather overheated, and so we now flip into something completely different. Interestingly enough, most of what we’re flipping into is old 19th century or older medicine method, such as Methylene Blue. We draw from that which is behind is, to invest in the present state, to find the path to the future.
There are almost too many suppliers and a lot of woo woo people (states of Neptune, as above) getting onto the Methylene Blue bandwagon now, but although the videos linked below have some of that, you will be able to sort through the ‘junk’, to explore the issue for your own needs and circumstances, I am sure. There is one modern book around on Methylene Blue, which is considered to be quite good by the community. It’s called The Ultimate Guide to Methylene Blue: Remarkable Hope for Depression, COVID, AIDS & other Viruses, Alzheimer’s, Autism, Cancer, Heart Disease, ... Targeting Mitochondrial Dysfunction) by Mark Sloan. Most commentators and users agree with Mark’s process but some acknowledge that he’s not quite got the Nitric Oxide aspect correct, so be a little relaxed about that situation. Elevations of Nitric Oxide might be linked to exposure to pollution and the body’s ability to handle such things, so it’s something of a core issue to the field. The book is on Amazon, here: CLICK

There is another book which details mitochondrial biochemistry quite well, but which doesn’t deal with Methylene Blue directly. Nevertheless, I found it interesting as a way to understand the overall processes which Methylene Blue is working with in the body. It’s called Power, Sex, Suicide: Mitochondria and the meaning of life by Nick Lane. It’s available on Amazon here: CLICK
I haven’t seen much in the way of formal, modern, scientific based papers on the subject of Methylene Blue, but I think there are probably a whole bunch of reasons for that, not the least of which would be that it’s an old drug, or treatment methodology, which has fallen through the cracks of current institutional policies. Instead, there is a vast field of experiential work being done by self-prescribers or what you might call, ‘Citizen Doctors’, and also certain types of alternative practitioners. Which is interesting, as that is actually how all medicine came about in the first place, before it became captured by the purely intellectual thinking of the ‘I Think, Therefore I Am’ of the Academic Institutions and their pursuits of the scientific method.
If you are so inclined, you can explore these issues at your leisure on (the dreaded) Facebook, in private groups. Methylene Blue / 3.6K members and Methylene Blue - The Magic Bullet / 3.0K members are the best. The latter group points you to a trove of BitChute videos when you join – some of which are very good. There are also many purveyors in this space now, and of course, racketeering is becoming rife. Nevertheless, if you do actually wish to go towards Methylene Blue, this supplier, CZTL, is generally applauded as being best quality, best supply, best bang for the buck. CLICK
The Methylene Blue field is also in convergence with several other current whole-of-health pursuit fields, such as Carnivore, Low Carb High Fat (LCHF) or Ketogenic diet programs. On the other side, there are all those who are working with Mitochondrial and Light spectrums as a healing modality. The light spectrums aspect is quite complimentary to Methylene Blue use, but it takes quite a change of thought about sunlight and interior lighting to achieve. You will have to consider ‘Unlearning and Rethinking’ yourself from everything that you’ve been taught about sunlight, indoor lighting and many other issues such as trees! One might say that it will take a complete turn towards ‘I Am, Therefore I Think’. Not to worry, there is a decent video on most of these subjects available. It has some practitioner ‘woo woo’ in it, but the science which they discuss seems to be as sound as science can ever be, and the presenters define the fields very well in an accessible language. CLICK.
Mitochondrial function is also connected to water and water production in the body. The very best thing you can do with Mitochondrial based healing is become re-acquainted with water in terms of using copper flasks, because every person on the planet is very likely copper deprived, due mostly to modern food production methods. They are easy to buy (Amazon again, my apologies), fill them with filtered water and let them stand overnight for use the next day. Also, ‘salt’ your water before drinking, preferably with Celtic Sea salt as that has every single essential mineral in it, so you don’t need to take colloidal minerals or anything in the way of supplements from Mr Blackmore. The ‘Lion Diet’ group on FB, covers this water and salt matter in detail. Lion Diet is an extreme form of Carnivore Diet, involving ONLY Beef, Tallow, Water and Salt. It works really well for many ‘auto-immune’ issues, but the carb withdrawal is brutal!!! That tells you something, straight away. Nevertheless, as a clean-up diet, it simply cannot be beaten.
In addition to all of that and again, turning to old Western medicine, Siberian Pine Powder taken as Tea is also a proven aid to Covid or Covid Vazz or any other vaccine injury sort of recovery situation. Details of the use of Pine Powder are easily Googled and the Siberian version seems to be favored on the basis that it is sourced from forests far away from any industrial pollution. It can be purchased from Amazon here: CLICK. I use this twice a day also, also drinking the ‘dregs’ from the bottom of the cup. If you are male, add Pine Pollen to the tea as well, teaspoon for teaspoon (one of each), because it’s good for your ‘T’ levels.
If you are in Sydney, Australia, you might like to be introduced to my Dentist, who has gathered around him a field of what he calls ‘Quantum Medicine’ practitioners. His name is Jalal Khan, and he’s quite the profound explorer in many matters of advanced health including Mitochondrial and Light spectrum issues and the ways of the body and posture through dentistry. You can see Jalal here: CLICK. Jalal doesn’t have a huge web presence, but if you want to see more of him, he’s on Instagram as k2calibre or at k2calibre.com or thequantumkid.com.au. Jalal has affiliate discount codes for red light and IR Light devices from two suppliers, available in the shop at his k2calibre.com site. Definitely worth checking it out.
Lastly, a very controversial note. Even before the vaccines arrived, the French, through the Pasteur Institute, announced that Covid patients recovered better if given Nicotine patches or Gum. Of course, that got very quickly scrubbed off Twitter as it existed at the time (Aack!), but there is a recent video (with not too annoying levels of woo woo) which discusses the whole matter and its relevance to long Covid recovery here. CLICK. The French, of course, are both remnant culture and notorious cultural outliers. We think of them as Gauls from the ancient world, but that is a derogatory term which came from Caesar and his missives to Rome. They were actually Celts, which circles us back to previous explorations of the Druidic method at The Sara Is Sensate. There is sometimes, an awful lot of outlier thinking living under ‘Vive la différence!’
Anyway, I hope all of that is useful and inspiring for you in your quest to be differently eased, and on your personal journey to become a person living in a state of ‘I Am, Therefore, I Think’.
Have a great 2024 everyone! Remember the Dragons, and the Swords, and the Trees, and do enjoy a nice cup of Siberian Pine Powder Tea while you explore the videos in this posting.
